About Alex
Dr. Alireza Siadatan holds a B.Sc, Ph.D, and postdoctoral degrees in electrical engineering from Shahid Beheshti University G.C. in Tehran, and was a visiting Ph.D. student at Wisconsin University, Madison in 2012. From 2018 to 2021, Dr. Siadatan was a visiting professor at University of Toronto. In the past two decades, Dr. Siadatan has published more than 200 journals and conference papers, and is the holder of 15 patents. He has been a member of the Academic Requirements Committee (ARC) at the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) since 2023, and is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SMIEEE). His current research interests include Electric Machines Design and Drives, BCI (Brain Computer Interface), Renewable Energy, WPT (Wireless Power Transformer), and Power Electronics.
