About Evelina

Students who feel paralyzed by numbers often find their way to my door. The parts of math I once found impossible are now the parts I most enjoy teaching. I have guided over 400 students through the complexities of statistics and probability, coordinate geometry, mensuration, exam preparation, mental math, and calculus.

Helping others grasp these concepts is what I find most enjoyable. Seeing a student move from confusion to clarity remains the best part of my day.

About the lesson

Algebraic equations often look like a jumbled mess of ink on a page before we start. Clarity begins when we map these concepts onto a coordinate plane to visualize the underlying structure.

As a teacher with a BS Math and a California state teaching credential, I emphasize a geometry first approach. Diagnostic tests for every student before we begin allow us to set a clear goal and work backward from it.
