About Alena
I started to teach in Brazil in January 2014. Most of my students are adults who want to practice English on daily basis, start speaking English, practice business English and prepare for their trips abroad. The most impressive result among my students is accessibility in MBA program in Texas.

My goal in class is to pass on conversational confidence to the student. I understand that it is more important to be comfortable speaking English, with or without errors. For, despite the mistakes made, during this process, the student absorbs grammatical knowledge, vocabulary and listening comprehension. I use several books (depending on the level of the student), videos, music and newspaper articles in order to facilitate the student's access to different sources for language learning. In my opinion the most important thing is to make a student feel comfortable about speaking in English with or without mistakes. During this process student gains grammar and vocabulary knowledge, and comprehension skills. I use different books, videos, musics, articles during classes to bring together various sources of language, information and studies.
