About Mihini Niweka
Hi, I’m Mihini Niweka. I’m a Bachelor of Information Technology graduate from La Trobe University, where I majored in Software Engineering. I’ve also worked as a tutor teaching the VCE curriculum to Year 11 and 12 students in Victoria.
I’m patient, approachable and easy to communicate with, and I understand that every student learns differently. I always try to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions without feeling judged and build confidence at their own pace.
Alongside tutoring, I’ve worked in technology, customer service and university roles, which has helped me become a clear communicator and someone who is reliable and well organized.

Hi, I’m Mihini Niweka. I have a Bachelor of Information Technology, majoring in Software Engineering, from La Trobe University.
I like to make difficult topics easier to understand by breaking them down, working through examples and giving students plenty of practice. I tailor lessons around what each student is currently learning and where they need the most support, with the goal of helping them understand the concepts rather than just memorizing answers.
I have previous tutoring experience teaching the VCE curriculum to Year 11 and 12 students in Victoria.
Lessons are typically 1–2 hours, and I’m comfortable working with secondary school students across different skill levels and learning styles.
