About Torin
I recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, so I'm well versed in coding and the concepts I teach — from core programming and data structures to the math behind them. On top of that, I competed in math competitions and earned state-level accolades in Algebra and Calculus, so the math side isn't just something I can teach — it's something I've genuinely excelled at.
Beyond the credentials, I really enjoy teaching. It's something people around me have always said I have a knack for, and it's a big part of why I'm doing this. I'm patient, I break things down into plain language, and I adapt to how each student learns best.

I'm a recent Computer Science graduate offering lessons in programming and math for students at any level — from complete beginners writing their first line of code to college students working through CS coursework or exam prep. I teach Python, C, C++, coding fundamentals, and data structures, along with math up to Calculus 2.
My approach is to mold how I teach based on how the student learns. I can go at whatever pace the student is comfortable with. What sets me apart is I am personable and enjoy teaching. I know how to break topics down into simple words students can understand.
A lesson plan would just start with what the student does not understand and then will progress naturally from there.
