About Martina Therese
I am a current postgraduate student taking up a master's degree in Software Engineering at the University of Sydney (USYD). I am also a Computer Science graduate with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. I also have professional experience as a Software Engineer and Data Scientist/Analyst. I have a strong foundation in problem-solving, logical thinking, and explaining complex concepts in a clear and approachable way.
Although I am new to formal tutoring, I am patient, well-prepared, and genuinely committed to helping students learn and build confidence. I take a structured yet flexible approach, adapting my explanations to suit each student’s level and learning style.
I am reliable, professional, and attentive, and I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.

Although I’m new to formal tutoring, I have a strong background in Computer Science and enjoy helping others understand new concepts. My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s level.
I focus on breaking down topics into simple steps, using practical examples, and checking understanding as we go. If something is unclear, I explain it in a different way until it makes sense, and I always encourage questions.
Lessons usually run for 60 minutes and include a short review, new material, and guided practice. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science and am well suited to help primary and secondary students, especially beginners looking to build confidence in coding, computer science, or maths basics.
