About Lakshya

I am a student a Wilfrid Laurier University getting 2 degrees: one in Computer Science, and another in Business Administration. With an SAT score of 1530/1600 and tutoring for more than 3 years, I have experience teaching 7-12th graders in various mathematics and science courses along with SAT and other test prep.

About the lesson

With an emphasis on personalized learning, I base my tutoring lessons upon the unique background of the student. Prior to each lesson, a small but thorough interview is conducted in order to gauge the level of understanding and to fill any gaps in mastery of the topic. Lessons sometimes incorporate technology, which are used in parallel with the blended learning model.

I can personally recommend Lakshya as a tutor thanks to his exemplary work in teaching Calculus. He works hard to make himself accessible, and creates a very open and casual environment. His greatest tutoring strengths include his stressing of intuitive understanding, or trying to make things ‘click’ beyond just a classroom setting, along with his willingness to adapt based on student recommendations, requests and requisites. I recommend Lakshya as a tutor for anyone who learns visually or auditorily, and values a deeper understanding more than just being able to regurgitate the information on test day.
