About Franco
Hi! I’m Franco, a 22-year-old Aerospace Engineering major with experience teaching College Algebra at the college level. I help students build understanding, not just memorize formulas, using step-by-step explanations, visual aids, and creative analogies that make abstract concepts clear and approachable. I often work with students who have already seen lecture material but didn’t fully grasp it. Through careful guidance and conceptual breakdowns, I help them connect the dots and gain a clear understanding of each topic. I teach students from middle school through college, covering everything from foundational skills like fractions and factorization to Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and calculus-based Physics. Lessons are tailored to your pace and goals, whether you’re reinforcing foundations, preparing for exams, or mastering advanced topics. I’ve helped students improve their grades, gain confidence, and truly understand challenging concepts, all in a structured, supportive learning environment. With my guidance, you’ll develop clarity, confidence, and the skills to tackle any problem with ease. A typical one-hour session includes 15–20 minutes of questions and reviewing class material, followed by 20–30 minutes focused on building the foundational understanding of concepts and walking through problem-solving strategies related to the topic.

I have extensive experience teaching College Algebra at the college level, helping students who struggled with lectures understand the material deeply. I specialize in breaking down abstract and complex topics using visual aids, graphs, and creative analogies—like slicing a problem into “pizzas”—so students can truly see and understand how concepts work.
In a typical lesson, we start with a review of the material, then I guide students step by step: explaining where each formula comes from, why it works, and how to apply it in examples. We practice problems together, gradually increasing complexity, and I finish each session with strategies for independent problem solving.
My expertise spans middle school through college level, including foundational skills like fractions, factorization, and basic algebra, as well as Trigonometry, Precalculus, College Algebra, Calculus 1 & 2, and calculus-based physics. I teach students from middle school to college, tailoring lessons to their level and goals—whether they’re building a solid foundation, preparing for exams, or mastering advanced topics.

I worked alongside Franco in Physics with Calculus and Calculus 2, he assisted me through my own learning objectives and helped me while he was working as a tutor for the college we both attend, he is kind and very professional, and I think he is an invaluable person to learn from, he does an excellent job reframing questions and making sure to find answers to any questions he doesn’t have the answer to. I genuinely believe my high grades in those two classes have a lot to do with Franco’s persistent help and perspective on difficult topics
Very competent and patient with his students. Extremely intelligent and is good at explaining how to derive or solve problems.
Franco is passionate about math and science. He likes to understand the world and to share that with the people around him. He is patient and wants to work with you to help you get better.
Franco was amazing i always had troubles understanding math and he made it look so easy, he is very attentive and respectfull. If it wasnt for him i wouldnt have pass my calculus 2 class.
