About Michael

I am a Columbia University student, graduate of Russia's best math specialized school with perfect scores on AP Calculus and SAT Math Subject Test. I have been teaching math for the past three years to kids of various ages - 10 through 18, but am probably best at working with high schoolers.

About the lesson

I can:
-help you with school math of any level (incl. APs)
-teach you any level of calculus or linear algebra
-get you ready for any exams or tests (SAT, AP, A-levels)
-show you how math can much more interesting than it is at school
-show you the proof-based backstory of anything given to you at school
-do fun extracurricular math with you

Depending on your particular needs and situation, we will work out a format, pace and style that works for you. I am a great fit for students wanting to go beyond school level in math, as I can focus on topics and methods often overlooked in the school curriculum.
