About Shana
I've been teaching at the community college for 10+ years. I have experience at the local high school and university as well. I love math -- I've always wanted to be a teacher and this was my favorite subject growing up.
I realize that math can be intimidating to some. I'm here to help students unlock their full potential! Beyond the math lesson, you'll also be learning critical thinking, problem solving, and time management skills.

-I provide a lesson outline for students to print and/or open up on their tablet, laptop, or smart phone. Students will fill in their outline with me.
-I teach outside the box. Math can get boring if you rely solely on a textbook -- I try to use new, fun ways to help students learn the content.
-Lessons are for anyone! I've taught students from age 16-60+. I specialize in high school and college level math. Precalculus Algebra, Trigonometry, College Algebra, and Calculus.
