About Oliver
While my main style is classical, I've performed in bands for most of my life and performed and taught almost all styles of guitar. I have a Bachelors of Music in Music performance and I've been performing professionally for 15+ years. While most of my teaching experience has been teaching bandmates my own music or arrangements, I also taught a couple kids while I was enrolled in college for extra money.

In my experience, each person has a unique learning style that requires whatever curriculum to be malleable enough to fit the students needs. Some people are better naturally by ear, and others need more of a calculated theory based approach, for example. Through active listening and testing aptitude with a few simple exercises, I can diagnose a students learning style and form an appropriate plan for their development within one session.
