About ASHLEY
I have experience in a physical classroom where I taught second grade and tutored for third grade. I also have experience in the virtual classroom. I was a teacher with K12 (TVAH, Stride) where I taught fifth grade math and science.
In addition to being a certified teacher, I was also the inclusion teacher for second-grade special education meaning I had to modify all of my lessons to meet the specifications for multiple individual education plans.
Aside from teaching, I love gardening and taking care of my kiddos and my mini-farm.

Hi friends! I am a certified teacher and I absolutely love math and science. I'm certified for all subjects but math is my passion. In the public school classroom, I was the teacher who would take my students outside for real-world learning. My favorite lesson was teaching the kids how to measure by using real measuring tools and letting them figure out how large the playground equipment was. They would then use this knowledge and design a new playground that they wanted to build.
