About Drew

I am the father of 2 wonderful toddlers and husband to an amazing wife who is also a teacher. I have taught in the Northeast & Midwest United States as well as in the Pacific Islands. I decided to spend more time with my 2 boys over the last year and a half and have transitioned from the classroom to online instruction. It is my passion to help learners understand the fundamentals of mathematics, and teaching from home allows me to follow my passion while being able to spend more time with my children.

About the lesson

I am certified to teach 6th-12th grade mathematics. I am able to help students of all ages with middle school math through calculus. I prefer to relate mathematics to real-world applications and explain mathematical concepts from many different angles. Math naturally builds upon itself, and often a student's difficulty stems from a missing foundational concept that needs to be filled in. I strive to fill in those conceptual gaps so that the student is able to see the big picture in order to understand the current lesson.
