About Benoy
I have been tutoring AP PreCalculus, AP Calculus AB & BC, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry over the years as a volunteer at the ‘Math Institute of the Triangle’ in Durham NC and also at my kids’ schools. Combination of 1-1 and Online. I taught a weekly half-hour ‘Math Superstars’ enrichment program for 5th graders. Also graded Math homework for Algebra and 5th-grade students. My in-depth knowledge of Math comes from two master's - Computer Science at SUNY Stony Brook NY & Mechanical Engineering at University of Notre Dame IN. My undergrad was in Mech Engg at IIT Bombay India. My teaching skills were enhanced with scholarship Teaching & Research Assistantships during my Masters. My initial focus during tutoring is to help you get confident and on top of your math homework. We will then, together, come up with ensure your success in math. I look forward to helping you with your Math Tutoring (online and 1-1) and helping you get comfortable with Math. My focus is to make sure that you get to master your Math homework assignments. Together, we will find areas that need beefing up and work out a plan to excel. I’m fairly flexible in my schedule and will do my best to accommodate your needs. With my strong math background (2 master's in Computer Science & Engineering) and diverse teaching experience (tutoring AP Math & K-10), I’m excited to help you excel. Let’s unlock your potential.
