About Louise
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 11 years of experience teaching high school and college students, specialising in personalised instruction that fosters fluency, confidence, and academic achievement. I design lessons to match the student’s goals, level, and learning style, integrating grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking exercises with practical examples and interactive activities.
I aim to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to participate actively, build confidence, and develop strong communication skills. My teaching philosophy centres on the C³P approach—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving—to ensure students not only learn English but enjoy the journey. Compassion drives my teaching; I understand that every learner is unique, so I tailor lessons to individual strengths and areas of improvement, providing encouragement and support.
Problem-solving is integrated through real-life scenarios, analytical exercises, and collaborative tasks that challenge students to think critically and apply language skills practically. I also teach relevant subjects such as reading comprehension, writing skills, and vocabulary building, which complement English learning and enhance overall academic growth.
