About Nici

I am a native English speaker with a clear, neutral accent. I have taught English to students from all over the world. My student base ranges from Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, through to Afrikaans. I have worked at leading language schools in Spain, Portugal, and South Africa. At International House Johannesburg, I formed part of teaching teams catering to students from Brazil, Mozambique, Angola, DRC, and Gabon. I have delivered courses in Business English and English for specific purposes, such as academic study, as well as General English, from beginner to advanced levels. I also have a love for teaching Young Learners from ages 4+. I am passionate about adding value and lending support to committed individuals who are serious about their communication and linguistic skills. I would love to understand what you wish to achieve and help you to get there as soon as possible. I keep my lessons focused, relevant, balanced, varied, and interesting. I like to build professional relationships with my students and create a warm environment in each of my classes, so that your time with me is effective, meaningful, and well worth it!

-Exam Preparation -Learn More: (concealed information) -Personalized approach based on clear learning goals, and objectives to fit in with WHY you are learning English -Lessons can be designed to improve all language skills: Speaking, Writing, Listening, Reading / Or focused on the one/s which you need the most. e.g. conversational English. -Various materials and blended methodologies -Communicative, fun, engaging, personalised approach -Patient and encouraging -Lesson duration: 25 minutes or 55 minutes (rate charged accordingly) -CELTA -Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching -More than 6 years international experience -online and in person; - 1-1 / group -BA Languages Degree-French, Spanish, Portuguese. (I understand the specific mistakes that students make, why, and how to fix them.) -Ages 5+ Beginners to Advanced Level Students
