About Olubukola

My name is Olubukola, and I’m passionate about helping students unlock their potential. I hold an MBA from the University of Liverpool and soon to complete my PGCEi from the University of Liverpool John Moores. I’ve spent over a decade teaching, mentoring, and training young people and adults. I’m also the Founder and Executive Director of the Heritage Children Foundation Africa and the CEO of Oba Couture Ltd, a fashion brand I built from the ground up. My experience as both an educator and entrepreneur allows me to bring real-world examples into every lesson. I don’t just teach theory, I help students understand how to apply knowledge in everyday life, whether it’s managing money, solving problems, or starting a business. I love teaching because I believe education is one of the most powerful tools for transformation. Watching students gain confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their goals gives me great joy. My goal is to make learning practical, inspiring, and enjoyable for every student I meet.

About the lesson

I believe that learning should be practical, engaging, and relevant to real life. My approach combines theory with real-world application, helping students understand why they are learning a concept and how it applies in everyday decision-making, business, and problem-solving.

I use a student-centered approach, tailoring each lesson to the learner’s level, pace, and goals. For Business Studies, I draw from my own entrepreneurial and management experience to bring topics to life through case studies, discussions, and problem-solving exercises. In Mathematics, I simplify complex ideas using step-by-step explanations, examples, and visual aids to help students build confidence and mastery. I also use interactive digital tools, worksheets, and short quizzes to assess understanding and keep students actively involved.

Each session usually lasts between 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the student’s age, attention span, and the depth of the topic. I also provide short follow-up assignments or reflection activities to reinforce learning after class.

I hold an MBA from the University of Liverpool and currently pursuing a PGCEi from the University of Liverpool John Moores, and I have been teaching and mentoring young people for over a decade through my foundation and other educational programs. I also run my own business, which allows me to share first-hand insights about entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and management, making my lessons both practical and inspiring.

My lessons are ideal for primary 5 and primary 6 students preparing for Common Entrance, Secondary school and university students, as well as young adults and professionals who want to strengthen their understanding of Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, or Mathematics. I teach students preparing for local and international curricula (such as WAEC, IGCSE, and A-Levels) and adults who want to develop practical business and financial skills.

Whether the goal is academic excellence or real-world skill development, I strive to make every class engaging, interactive, and relevant.
