About Mary
I am an ESL tutor with 8 years of experience teaching high school and college students. During this time, I have taught 150-200 students, helping them build confidence in speaking, writing, and understanding English. Each student’s growth inspires me to keep improving and innovating my teaching methods.
I am passionate about education and believe that learning English should be interactive, practical, and enjoyable. I use a combination of real-life examples, exercises, and communication-focused strategies to ensure students not only learn but also enjoy the process.
Over the years, I have celebrated many milestones, from students achieving higher grades and excelling in exams to expressing themselves confidently in English for the first time. These moments are a true reflection of the impact of consistent guidance and encouragement.
I strive to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring the language. I personalise lessons according to each student’s strengths and challenges, ensuring they make steady progress.

I follow a student-focused teaching methodology that blends real-life learning, motivation, and adaptability. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students connect English to their daily experiences, making learning practical and memorable.
I prioritise motivation, inspiring students to stay curious, set goals, and improve continuously. I integrate problem-solving techniques to help learners overcome difficulties in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension. This builds confidence and independence.
