About Josh
I have been drumming for just over 14 years now and have recently graduated with a BA Hon's in Professional Musicianship, at BIMM Bristol. During my time at BIMM, I have worked various sessions within a studio environment, been taught by world class musicians and been fortunate enough to play at some noteworthy events, such as the Pilton Stage competition.
Primarily, I specialise in hybrid drumming and my playing is heavily influenced by bass focused music, like Jungle/Drum & Bass, Garage and Dub. However, I both enjoy and have experience in all styles of music.

My approach to teaching is heavily focused on getting the student to reach their own personal goals. I like to start by finding out a bit about my students, such as their experience with the instrument and what music inspires them to play. From there, I can create custom lesson plans that specifically cater to their needs, ensuring smooth progression and ultimately helping them to achieve those goals.

Josh is an exceptional teacher for the platform, i beleive Joshes knowledge, skills and ability to develop his teaching style and change this dependant on the students needs and requirments. Josh is able to clearly convey all his learnings to me and has incredibly improved my music theory, practicality and dexterity in the subject.
Josh is clearly highly knowing of the music theory and practical that goes into the subject and wehther an intermediary or beginner, Josh is readily able to become acustome to the clients learning styles.
I woule reccomen d Josh to Intermdiary, adept and basic skill levels of students given his flexibility and skillset. I have been recommended josh via friends of friends currently studying music and i am more than happy with the lessons, pricing and teacher i have.View more recommendations
