About Josh
I'm a Boston University graduate who genuinely enjoys helping people "get" math. I know what it's like for math to feel confusing, so I focus on explaining things in a simple, patient, down-to-earth manner. In our lessons, we start by figuring out exactly what you're stuck on, walk through the ideas together, and practice until it actually makes sense - not for the test, but for you, and your understanding. Students tell me they like that I never rush or pressure them, and that I'm good at rephrasing concepts until it clicks. My goal is to make math feel manageable and build confidence step by step. I work with middle school, high school, and early college students who need help with algebra, calculus, or foundational math skills. Whether you're catching up, getting ahead, or just need someone who explains things clearly, I'm here to help.

I teach math my keeping explanations simple, clear, and intuitive. I focus on step-by-step reasoning and adjust my pace to each student's needs.
