About Deemah

Hi! I’m Deemah, a Bioscience university student with a strong interest in Maths and Science.

I know that these subjects can sometimes feel confusing or intimidating, especially when something hasn’t been explained in a way that makes sense to you. I enjoy breaking difficult ideas down into simpler steps and helping students work through them at their own pace.

I’m patient, friendly and approachable, and I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and saying when they don’t understand something.

I’m starting tutoring because I’d love to use what I’ve learnt throughout school and university to help younger students become more confident in Maths and Science.

About the lesson

I aim to make Maths and Science feel simple and approachable rather than overwhelming. I break topics down step-by-step, explain them in different ways when needed, and use practice questions to make sure the student has genuinely understood the topic.

Lessons will be tailored to each student, whether they need help understanding something from school, completing homework, practising questions or building confidence in a subject they find difficult.

I am currently a Bioscience university student and offer online Maths and Science lessons for KS2 and KS3 students. A typical lesson is around one hour, although this can be adapted depending on the student’s age and needs.

My goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and saying when they don’t understand something — without feeling embarrassed or pressured.
