About Alba

Hi, I’m Alba! I am a biomedical sciences PhD researcher based in London and a native Spanish speaker. My academic journey has taken me from hands-on laboratory research and complex data analysis to presenting scientific discoveries across the university. Having navigated high-level science for years, I understand firsthand that learning—whether it is breaking down a challenging signalling pathway or building fluency in a second language—can sometimes feel intimidating. That is why my approach is completely student-centred, supportive, and practical. I love helping students bridge the gap between abstract textbook theory and real-world understanding, turning tricky concepts into intuitive ideas. Beyond the lab, I am an active communicator and organiser, and I bring that same enthusiasm, patience, and adaptability to every lesson.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Alba, a PhD researcher in biomedical sciences and a native Spanish speaker based in London. Whether you are looking to master complex biological concepts or develop natural, fluent Spanish, I offer tailored 1-on-1 tutoring focused on building real understanding and confidence.

For Biology, I cover everything from school-level fundamentals (GCSE/A-Level) to university topics, focusing on clear explanations, active recall, and exam technique.

For Spanish, I offer conversational practice, grammar support, and exam preparation for all levels, ensuring lessons are engaging, intuitive, and practical.

Every session is adapted to your personal goals and pace—feel free to reach out to discuss what you’d like to work on!
