About Halley
I am an international student - a Filipino born and raised in Thailand - and moved to the U.S. for my Bachelors degree. During my time here, I also worked as a teaching assistant, a grader, admissions assistant, and peer mentor while also taking up multiple leadership roles.

I have a really personalized approach to teaching where I actively work with the student to understand their goals and their way of thinking, which would then inform how I teach. So, a typical lesson plan is goal-oriented over a specific course of time. In addition to math tutoring, I have also tutored Biology and Writing, so a lot of my tutoring practice come from multiple disciplines.
