About Sarah
I discovered yoga during high school while visiting my local YMCA. I pursued my practice through college and university. One Friday evening, after a yoga class, my yoga teacher at the time asked me if I had considered training to become a yoga teacher. With the desire to deepen my personal practice, but more out of curiosity, following the advice I received, I signed-up for a 200-hour yoga teacher training program offered by YogaFit Canada. Since 2011, I have been teaching various types of yoga, including chair yoga, yoga for children and for families, and yoga for all levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced), including in a corporate setting, while pursuing my consulting career in the field of environment.
Yoga has taught me stress management, and to control my breathing. Deepening my meditation practice allows me to live in the present moment.
