Hi! I’m HyunGyu, a UC Berkeley graduate with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. With 4+ years of tutoring experience, I specialize in helping students truly understand challenging concepts—whether it’s algebra, calculus, Python, or object-oriented programming. I’ve taught over 30 students ranging from middle schoolers to AP and IB level students, both in the U.S. and Korea. My teaching style is structured yet flexible. I believe in guiding students to think logically, build confidence, and develop real problem-solving skills—not just memorization. Whether you’re preparing for AP Calculus, learning Java, or just need homework help, I’m here to support you. I’ve also worked as a software engineering intern at Uber and helped organize tech conferences with Samsung in San Francisco. I combine real-world tech experience with clear, student-centered instruction.
