About Miriam
I am an artist working across the fields of drawing, painting, sculpture and digital art. My preferred mediums are pencil, charcoal, acrylic paint, oil paint, pastel and more!
I have a Bachelor of Visual Art from the Adelaide Central School of Art, having graduated in 2019 with Distinction. My Year 12 SACE Art was awarded a Merit and contributed to my ATAR of 96 in 2015.
I have been an art tutor for some years now, have had several regular clients since graduating and I'm looking to assist more!

My teaching methodology consists of building a friendly relationship with my clients, fully understanding their needs and learning goals then building lessons around those.
For school age students working towards assignments and exhibitions, I'm available for weekly sessions to help build up folios, visual studies and practical work. I can assist with the establishing of portfolios for tertiary study applications, having applied to an Art School myself.
For university students, I can help with Art History assignments, journals, experimentation, class work and assignments as needed. I've graduated from Art School so I've completed many of these in my time and assisted others since I was there.
For adults or children wanting casual art lessons: We'll pick a medium or two to explore each week or month, I'll give you a tutorial, show you some of my old artworks and assist you in creating a new, unique artwork for yourself! We'll have a lot of fun doing it too!

Perfect! Mim is excellent at drawing but also about imparting knowledge. She has really made our learning exciting and fun - and of course the obligatory compliments to give us confidence that we are progressing :-)
