About Avery

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Education and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I am passionate about helping students learn, grow, and build confidence in their abilities. I strive to create a positive, patient, and supportive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to succeed. I believe in adapting my approach to each student's individual needs and making learning an engaging and rewarding experience.

About the lesson

Teaching Methodology - As a Bachelor of Education student with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, I take a supportive and individualized approach to tutoring. I recognize that every student learns differently and adapt my strategies to meet their needs. I use clear explanations, real-world examples, and guided practice to help students understand concepts, build confidence, and develop independent learning skills.

A Typical Lesson - Each session is tailored to the student's goals and may include reviewing previous material, introducing new concepts, practising skills together, and reviewing progress to identify areas for improvement.

What Sets Me Apart - My background in education and sociology helps me understand the importance of recognizing each student's individual strengths and needs, and how we can use both to their advantage. I strive to create a welcoming, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

Who My Lessons Are For - For the Social Sciences, I offer personalized tutoring for high school and undergrad students, supporting their academic development, homework, assignments, and understanding of challenging concepts.
