About Lelaney
I am a student advisor and english language tutor for more than 3 years. I teach one on one classes as well as group classes of up to 8 students in a class. All of my regular students that I've taught have passed their course with distinctions. My specialty includes ESL, IELTS and TOEFL preparation.

My teaching methods is always fun and interactive amongst others.
Please note that I use three different teaching methods for my group and individual lessons.
My group lessons are based on the The Facilitator Style as well as the Delegator Style. The facilitator or activity-based style will encourage self-learning in the classroom through increased peer to teacher learning. Here, I normally ask students questions rather than simply providing the answer. In this style, activities are used to promote self-discovery and develop problem-solving skills, which can often lead to the my students developing a much deeper understanding of the topic.
From time to time as a delegator, I may take on an observer role to promote collaboration and encourage peer-to-peer learning.
However, within my individual lessons I adopt the The Hybrid Style. This is an integrated teaching style that incorporates my personality, preferences and interests into my teaching.
With the hybrid style I am able to tailor my tutoring for different pupils and incorporate extra-curricular knowledge to develop a deeper knowledge of a particular topic.
