Hi, I'm Sunny! I graduated from 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝘆𝘀 in 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 with a 𝟵𝟵.𝟱𝟬 𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗥 and am now pursuing a Bachelor of Vision Science and Master of Clinical Optometry at UNSW. Over the past 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, I’ve figured out what does and doesn’t work when teaching — using 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to help students truly understand concepts, 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Whether you are at the top or bottom in your class, I will do everything in my power to help you succeed.

️𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀. Classes are intentionally 2 - 5 students so every student’s needs can be easily attended to.

We mainly offer small group tutoring (2 - 5 students) but you can also get in contact to see if we have availability for 1 - 1 tuition. Classes are intentionally smaller so that we can still easily attend to the individual needs of each student in the class. Still not sure? First lesson is only charged if you like it – free otherwise. There’s no risk to try!

We have one 1 - 2 hour session per week (depending on the subject/year) that is conducted online.

𝟯) 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.
This is a common concern we get where many students are initially reluctant to transition from in-person classes to online learning. However, after making the switch, many contact us directly saying they actually prefer online - saving them over an hour of travel time and learning from the comfort of their own room. Our lessons involve frequent and personalised engagement, making it that much easier for students to stay focused — unlike the boring 30 student online school classes during COVID that students often felt were disengaging.

𝟰) 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀?
Each lesson begins with a quick recap of previous week’s content, including a few practice questions or homework question reviews. We then introduce new topics, with practice questions after each theory section to help students apply their knowledge. At the end of each lesson, homework is assigned for the following week. Once a major topic is completed, we tackle more challenging past exam-style questions to ensure students are well-prepared for exams.
