About Jessica
I have been teaching art classes for the last year and a half and have taught a range of students, from teenager to seniors. I have also taught both one on one and taught classes of up to twenty five people.
I am still a practising artist myself and my work is always on a topic I feel strongly about whether it be political, personal, social or cultural. My experiences of life always inform my creative process and teaching method.

I start all my teaching work by observing my student and discussing with them what they want to improve about there artistic practice.
The next step in my art classes is mind mapping to gain a better understanding of their themes or inspiration and then we start drawing anything or anyone of interest or significance to their project's theme.
As we draw, we start to think about the personal meaning behind the subject matter and what else it relates to. This is how we find a topic students want to develop further.

Details
My starting rate for normal classes is £20 if you wish to book a life drawing session the fee is £60 to cover the cost of hiring the life model.
