About Phoebe
Hello, My name is Phoebe but you may call me Pheebs or whatever else you feel comfortable with :).
I am your Art & Design teacher.
We will be learning about different drawing techniques, perspective, proportions, anatomy and much more exciting things.
Art is subjective and exciting to see what your interpretation of art is and the art style you use to express yourself.
In my classes I want you to experiment with your compositions and techniques because that is how you learn.
So bring your art supplies and we will get started on this journey of art exploration.

I want my art & design classes to be a free, expressive space. A place where the student can relax after maths or physics class. As many of my prev. lecturers have taught me "to learn through experimentation" I will make sure to expose the students to many different applications of art and techniques.
I am proficient in English, Afrikaans and Dutch.
In class we will be improving on drawing skills themselves and then on how to apply them to your art.They will learn how perspective and proportion can either make a convincing drawing or rather striking. Anatomy drawing gives an artist a greater understanding of what they are drawing as well as practices their observational skills when drawing. These elements mentioned are only the beginning. We will have much more to explore and I am excited to get the most potential from the students as well as keeping them excited about art & design.
