About Felicity

I have a TEFL certificate and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences.

I worked with SayABC for a year and a half as an online English teacher for young children. During a two month stay in Russia, I taught English to 3-13 year olds and loved doing so.

I love to teach and travel. I believe there are so many beautiful things that we can learn from other cultures and languages.

I have had a TEFL Certification for the past 10 years and have worked with young learners and children mostly since obtaining my certificate.

Through this experience I have found some effective ways to teach that can be applied to any learner, no matter their age or skill level.

In order to learn effectively, we need to feel safe and secure, with no fear of judgement. I work hard to provide this for my students so that they are able to fully concentrate and absorb what they are learning.

About the lesson

Well, I am here to help you.

I have lived in a foreign country and did not understood the local language. It is frustrating. It can be very lonely and enjoying your time in the place can be hard.

I understand what it is like because I've been in your shoes too.

We can work together to improve your comprehension and fluency so you can enjoy your time. I will teach and encourage you with compassion.

If you have a good understanding of English and are looking to expand your speaking ability, this lesson is for you.

LESSON LENGTH
Each lesson will be 55 minutes long.

I provide a comfortable and stress-free environment for students to gain confidence and expand their vocabulary.

It is not easy to learn and improve when feeling stressed.

I am happy to design specific exercises and activities to help students improve their overall English skills or assist with any current requirements (for example, understanding assignment requirements).

Details

If student cancels a lesson within 24 hours of its start time, student will still be charged the full fee.
If they cancel outside of this (for example, 2 days before), they will not be charged at all.

If students are complete beginners, fee will be $30 per hour for a lesson.
