About Nicholas
I have Juris Doctor degree from Vermont Law School with a focus in business law, criminal law, evidece and constitutional law.
I am an assistant district attorney with litigation experience. During law school I was an honor student and sat as the president of the Business Law Society. I was a member of the moot court team. I achieved academic excellence awards and was the teaching assistant in Legal Policy and Writing, Tort Law, and Business Law. I clerked for attorneys who specialized in tort claims, business formation, and divorce.
What do I do outside of the classroom? I enjoy fishing, hiking, entrepreneurship, investing in and learning about cryptocurrencies, and reading.

I teach the following topics: contracts, constitutional law, criminal law, civil procedure, real property, torts, corporations and other business entities, family law, estates, and legal writing.
In my lessons, we focus on examples and explanations of both complex and foundational legal theories. Generally, lessons begin with an explanation of the rule of law that the student seeks to master. Next, the course shows the student how to apply the law to specific facts.
If a student asks, I also edit and give feedback on legal briefs, legal memorandums, general memorandums, essays, and cover letters.
These lessons are for 1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls, or anyone with an interest in learning to think like a lawyer and improve their writing skills.
