About Dawna

I have been signing for about 23 years. I have interacted with and learned ASL from deaf individuals that I am still in contact with. I interpret and perform songs in sign. I love to sign and interact with the deaf community.

About the lesson

Learning to sign is a great way to be prepared to interact with the deaf community in your work, school or church settings. I learn where you are at in your development and go from there. I teach beginner and intermediate.

I enjoy learning from her because she has a nice sense of humor and is not critical but instead takes the time to explain how the ASL signs are made and if need be some of the origin of the sign.
