About Patricia
I have been a private tutor & educational consultant for the past 4 years. I have built up my successful private business tutoring students mostly for enrichment & test prep. Prior to that I was a Middle School & then a High School Algebra I Honors teacher. I held that position in Florida for 14 years before moving back up North to Boston.

I teach basing my lessons on each of my student's particular needs. I believe that each individual student learns a different way & teachers should be flexible enough to be able to adjust to their needs.
I use a lot of different techniques to keep my students engaged now that out learning has switched to remote. Interactive notebooks, and pixel art activities are fun ways to allow them to practice what they've learned with self-checking fun activities.
I also love making real world problems related to each student's unique interests and then having this incorporated with a virtual tour of this as well. It is just another way my students are kept excited about learning!!
