About Jerome
I have 35 years of experience in the math classroom, all in the Algebra lane. I do not tutor in Geometry, Statistics, or Calculus. I have many hooks and strategies for helping you understand with different ways of saying things to connect content to your level of understanding.
I have been named to “Who’s Who America’s Teachers” on two different occasions along with other local and state teacher awards.

This is student directed. We work off your plan and addressing your needs. Common approaches from student are:
Present missed content ideas addressing make-up work assigned when absent.
Discovering your difficulty in understanding certain math concepts and ideas through guided and independent practice.
Complete homework when the rigor is beyond a students understanding and experience.
Analyze student work looking for tendencies so gaps in learning can be addressed and practiced.
Prepare for upcoming quizzes, unit tests and semesters exams.
