About Desiree
I’m based in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. I paint and draw a broad mix of realistic subjects and also make abstract wax works. I studied art at The Learning Connexion art school in Wellington, where I gained an advanced diploma in creativity, painting and drawing. I have worked with young people for around 15 years, within a school environment (including Montessori) and weekly workshops from my home. I love sharing my knowledge but also encourage students to experiment.
