My Teaching Methodology & Techniques:
My approach is built on analytical frameworks and strategic problem-solving. I move beyond rote memorisation, helping students understand the 'why' behind the formulae. By applying structured, real-world logic—drawing from statistical methods and data analysis—I teach students how to systematically break down complex exam questions. I bring a highly structured mindset to tutoring, ensuring every student receives a customised learning path. We focus heavily on exam technique, past papers, and structured weekly reviews to consistently track progress.
Typical Length of a Lesson:
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long. This provides the optimal balance for introducing new mathematical concepts, working through guided examples, and practising past paper questions without causing student fatigue. For intensive A-Level exam preparation or tackling particularly complex statistical distributions and hypothesis testing, 90-minute sessions are also available to ensure deep, uninterrupted focus.
Qualifications & Experience:
I hold a degree in Industrial Mathematics from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). My background is deeply rooted in advanced quantitative analysis, statistics, and practical problem-solving. I taught over 250 high school students mathematics with a success rate of 67.75%. This combination of deep technical mathematics knowledge and hands-on experience allows me to communicate complex concepts effectively to learners at any stage.
