About Abbas
I used to have a tutor myself when I was doing my exams, and it made a real difference having someone outside of school to explain things in a different way and in a different environment. That's part of why I wanted to tutor — I know firsthand how much a fresh perspective can help when you're stuck on something a teacher's already explained a few times without it clicking.
I'm quite relaxed as a person and like keeping lessons that way too — I always enjoy having a proper conversation and getting to know my students a bit, not just running through content in silence. Outside of tutoring, I'm into football and go to the gym regularly, so I get that revision isn't the only thing going on in your life, and I try to keep sessions practical rather than overwhelming.

I've taught online for a while now and I'm comfortable with the format — it doesn't feel like a compromise compared to in-person lessons. I'm confident explaining things clearly and at a good pace, but I always start by listening, since everyone struggles with slightly different things, and I'd rather adapt to that than teach the same way to every student.
Lessons usually run 45-60 minutes and are built around your exam board, mixing explanations with practice questions and past paper work depending on what you need most.
I teach GCSE Maths and Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) — whether you're solid in a subject and want to push the grade further, or need help closing specific gaps.
