I start from the premise that students always teach themselves, an instructor can only guide, ask questions that will lead the student toward understanding, encourage, and correct misunderstandings. I work to keep a positive attitude and try to develop in the student an attitude of puzzle solving. I have found that once a student gains a certain level of confidence they self teach.
