About Vanessa

I would like to tutor in A level or GCSE Maths because I am still a student myself, and only took my A levels about 3 years ago, so I understand first-hand how the experience was for me, and I can teach in a way that emphasises compassion and understanding for when someone is confused, and is understanding slower than they would like. I want to create a safe space for students to grow and believe that they can score well, because they can!

About the lesson

I don't move on to another topic until I'm sure that you understand completely, and not only tutor, but would offer revision plans and A level Maths advice, as it is no easy journey. I'd like to do a lesson for an hour. I already tutor privately in A level for a sixth form student. I would also set homework, and mark it for you for the next lesson.

Thank you Vanessa for your compassion and dedication.
Your efficiency and thoroughness has made it possible for my son to grow in leaps and bounds. He tells me that maths is his best subject and you can see he has grown a lot in confidence. He is now in the topmost class of his set and thriving.
We truly appreciate you

Vanessa is very knowledgeable in maths. She has helped me gain confidence and helped me improve my understanding in the subject. She explains things clearly, breaks down difficult problems step by step and always make sure I actually understand the topic before moving on. She's patient, supportive and never makes me feel embarassed for asking questions.
