Hi, I’m Islay 🤍
I’m a yoga teacher based in Christchurch with a passion for helping people feel more at home in their bodies. I started yoga as a way to manage stress and reconnect with myself, and it quickly became something I wanted to share with others.
Over the past 2 years, I’ve taught in a range of settings and worked with people of all abilities. I love creating a space where you can slow down, move in a way that feels good, and take a break from the busyness of everyday life.
Teaching yoga is something I truly love, and I love supporting people to feel stronger, calmer, and more connected.

I offer personalized yoga lessons tailored to your body, goals, and experience level. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to deepen your practice, I create sessions that feel supportive, accessible, and effective.
My teaching blends Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin yoga to help you build strength, improve flexibility, and find calm in both your body and mind. I’m especially passionate about supporting people with busy minds, helping you slow down and reconnect.
Each lesson is adapted to how you’re feeling on the day, with options and guidance throughout so you feel confident and comfortable. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can move, breathe, and feel good.
