I explain ever topic by relating them to day to day activities, so that students are able to apply their knowledge and get thorough understanding of concept. I encourage students to think out of the box and expand their horizons of learning not just focusing on cramming the content.
Since in biology there is lot of names and concept, i teach students numerous mnemonics and flow charts to remember them. I also include various videos and pictures presentation in my classes to help the students to understand the concept better and also remember it in future. I also prepare test papers cantaining variety of questions of a topic which will expose the students to various ways a concept can be asked in the exam and also to relate it with different concept. It will boost their confidence in exams.
