About Imran

- What kind of experience do you have? I have been tutoring for many years. I have taken lessons on a one-to-one basis through webcam and also in schools. My experience ranges from teaching 11plus, GCSE and A levels. I have a good success rate. I have worked in industry on projects that included polymers, pharmaceuticals and ceramics. I have also worked in University on research into Diffusion in membranes. - Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate? I have an up-to-date DBS certificate. - Where and with whom did you train? BSc from Loughborough University PhD from Aston University - Do you belong to any professional organisations? Member of National Association of Tutors. - Tell me about some of your current students. The students range from 11+ level to A level.

About the lesson

I am enthusiastic about getting good results. I believe very much in creativity and a patient approach. I teach Maths, Physics and Chemistry for GCSE and A levels. I also teach GCSE Biology. I teach online on a one-to-one basis as well as groups. Online tutoring has its advantages as it allows the student to learn from the comfort of their own surroundings. Much of my success has been to be able to boost the grades of students by a couple of grades. - Which subject(s) do you teach? Mathematics Chemistry Physics Biology - Tell me about your qualifications. I have a PhD in Engineering - How much do you charge? I charge £25 an hour. - Where do you teach? I mainly teach at student homes, but these days online. - When are you available? Able to visit most days. - Which ages and levels do you teach? From year 7 to A level. - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? GCSE and A levels. - Describe your arrangements for online tutoring. I have a webcam and use a whiteboard - Do you have a personal message for students? Almost everything is easy providing you set time aside for it.

Perfect! My daughter really enjoys Imran's classes. He taught her chemistry for the first time today, and my daughter shared that it was even more detailed than what her school teacher covers. Imran is not yet familiar with my daughter's level, so he seems to be teaching her based on her current grade, which is 8th grade. This way, she can quickly compare his teaching to that of her school teacher. Highly recommended! It's also cost-effective, especially in these times of rising prices

I studied under his tutelage for my GCSEs and A-Levels. As a result of working with Dr. Zac I was able to achieve A* grades in GCSE Statistics, Mathematics and Physics and A grades in Biology and Chemistry. Furthermore I was able to achieve an A grade for A-Level Mathematics. I went on to study for a Mathematics degree at University and have graduated with Upper Second Class Honours (2:1).
