About Amanda

A little about me... I received my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 2010 and have experience teaching at the college level and tutoring both high school in College Prep Chemistry, AP Chemisty and college-level students taking Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, GOB Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry courses. I also have spent the last decade leading the development of online learning assessments for major publishers and online homework platforms with a focus on active learning.

About the lesson

I understand how difficult and frustrating it can be to learn the concepts of chemistry, and have developed proven and effective learning techniques and strategies that can help you succeed on your own. My goal is for you to be able to perform and eventually not even need a tutor.

I look forward to working with students to give them the confidence and understanding to improve their grades while performing their own work on assessments.

1st session is 30 min. All remaining sessions are a 1 hour minimum. Late cancellation within 24hr of a scheduled appointment is a 100% charge of the one-hour fee.
