About Amy
I speak Russian, English, Kazakh, and Mandarin, and I absolutely love learning languages and connecting with people through communication. My diverse linguistic background, combined with my experiences living in Germany, China, and now the USA, has given me a deep understanding of different cultures and language learning processes. This allows me to create a more dynamic and engaging learning experience for my students, no matter their language goals. In my professional career, I’ve not only run my own language center but also mentored other teachers, helping them develop effective teaching methods. As a native Russian speaker and experienced tutor, I focus on making learning engaging and personalized. I adapt my approach to each student’s needs, using interactive activities, real-world applications, and a mix of traditional and modern tools. Perfect! Amy had me jump to a level I had never using apps and self study. No joke, in two lessons I had the alphabet, numbers and could read most Russian, woth difficulty of course, but the progress was incredible.
