About Evelyn
I have been teaching guitar for nine years and have played for over fifteen. I used the guitar constantly in my work as an educator, finding it to be the perfect tool to bring a group of students together. I am experienced in making the initial learning stages feel easy and rewarding, which helps students build the momentum to stick with the instrument for years to come. I am a patient teacher who believes making music should always be a joyful experience.

Let's learn to play the guitar! My one-to-one lessons are customized for your child's age and goals. For young beginners, my method is all about fun and immediate results, learning a few simple chords to play familiar songs right away. For more advanced middle and high school students, we can explore more complex topics like music theory, fingerstyle playing, and even songwriting. The goal is always to keep the student motivated by focusing on the music they love.
