About Precious
I am a Forensic Science graduate. I passed my degree with distinction and throughout my school years have done exceptionally well in Biology and Maths. I have a huge passion for the science sector.
I have experience in tutoring these subjects to both primary and high school students (including a grade 12 learner) . I have done individual based lessons thus far and have received nothing but positive feedback from the learners I have provided my services to; to an extent of a learner going from not doing well in a subject to passing over and above their initial target for the subject.
I was also a course facilitator while studying towards my degree. This position entailed providing academic support to undergraduate students and facilitating with the practical sessions.

I believe in an interactive lesson, so I always conduct my lessons in such a way that I don't only provide content but I include activities and space for discussions around the topic of the day.
I focus my lessons more on areas that the learner struggles with and I constantly ask (every now and again) if the learner/s have any questions so as to ensure that I still have their attention.
I like to include at least a 5min break in between the lesson (depending on how long the lesson is) just to have a breather, especially if it's difficult content that is being looked at for that particular lesson.
The lessons will generally start with presentation of the topic, a Q and A and then an activity to check that the learner has grasped the concept.
