About Sarah
I studied Japanese through an immersion program in my school district. I completed the program, spending significant parts of my school days from Kindergarten through 12th grade reading, writing, and speaking Japanese and studying Japanese culture. I have also spent time in Japan, passed proficiency tests in college, and take various opportunities to keep my skills sharp.

My teaching style is primarily conversational. Conversation builds vocabulary, improves grammar, and increases your comprehension and expression. Conversation also helps reduce your accent and improve pronunciation. Other tools I use are vocabulary review, grammar studies, assessing writing, and hearing comprehension practice.
