About Skyler
I am currently a student studying for her bachelor's degree in psychology. I have always wanted to be able to help kids and I think that tutoring would be a great start! I have a passion for literature/poetry/writing and I understand it very well so I believe I will be able to help your kiddos understand it too. I don't have any professional experience tutoring, only service acts here and there so this would be a wonderful opportunity to get my foot in the door!

My teaching method is a very involved one. I would break down the text and we would dive into the meanings of what we are studying to help us understand it better. I would also probably use real world examples that can be related to to try and help develop a better understanding as well. I am very patient so I will follow the students pace that they need to learn but I will also try to help them develop faster learning skills as well.
